Kahill`s Restaurant and Bar in La Crosse

Upon entering I became deeply concerned that nobody was taking coronavirus precautions including the servers. I called in my order and it was ready fairly quickly and the bartender was friendly and professional except she was not wearing a mask. The food was mediocre at best. The barbecue chicken sandwich is a formerly frozen chicken breast with an uneven lean cut tomato on a grocery store hamburger bun. The chips sit on the premises and have potential but we are far too salty.The only reason I came here was because they have a supercharger and I needed to charge up my car.

Great food and service - the brisket burger is probably the best burger I've ever had and their fries are up there too!

Charged over chariot while we ate great food. Our server was a little bit busy, but we enjoyed our time there. This is a perfect spot for refueling and hunger management. I don't travel I-85 home often, but this was a Find on our way.

Ending up hanging up because, she had an attitude, guess I asked more than One question. Guess they so busy they dont need new money from travelers. Dont ask just order will get you food you either eat or throw out and I. Not throwing out my money because I don't know what is in a bigbang shrimp.

Very nice rustic relaxing setting. Great service. Excellent food and choices. Plenty of parking including EV charging stations. Facilities are clean and well kept. Worth the drive from Richmond or Raleigh to meet friends in the middle. Our new favorite restaurant in South Hill!

Food was delicious! Bang Bang Shrimp was banging. Brisket Burger was off the chain. Need to serve wet wipes with that one cause it's a mess. Definitely will return to try more. Please if you are traveling or visiting try this place out. I always try local places when traveling and I am glad I found this one.

The place overall looks old but I really enjoyed the burger and fries I had there. Burger was tasty and the fries were not just run of the mill. Then the chocolate cake was good too. Don't judge a book by its cover. Also bonus points for having 5 Tesla charging stations out back.

Love this place!! It is our regular spot heading down to North Carolina. This was our third stop here and we were not disappointed. Great pub with a menu that has something for everyone. The waitstaff is consistently welcoming and friendly. Kelsey suggested we start with the bang bang shrimp, which was served hot and had a nice kick to it. A nice hometown feel when your out of town. A quick hop off, hop on route 85! I highly recommend this spot and we will be back!

We discovered Kahill's while charging our car on the way to North Carolina. We enjoy the food, great service, and the efforts they made to cook items that our young kids will eat. We also came through one night during a big party that had the parking lot chock-full, and the owner (I believe) came out and ensured that we were able to charge quickly.

Adorable waitress! Fantastic chef! Expert bartender! Even the kitchen staff is "A+" although we did not meet everyone. The steaks were perfect, desserts - sweet and delicious. It is definitely worth the 45 minute drive♥️

Just want to say thank you guys for allowing me to throw my wife her 50th birthday party. The food, band and staff was great. Thanks again we really surprised her. ❤

Great experience! Tesla charging station, cold drinks and great food! Tom, the owner is a great guy, felt like an old friend even though we just met him. Portions generous and prices very reasonable. I'm all about the atmosphere...

I wish there was a 5 star for the waitress work .... the place is very nice to have a drink... maybe it was just a bad day for the cook.... chicken was very raw, rice was too soggy that it seemed like mashed potatoes... I hate giving bad ratings but I must say this was a bad place for me to eat....

Food was delicious! There's a Tesla Super charger in the back, which is what brought us to Kahlil's. The steamed shrimp with homemade cocktail sauce was fantastic. Servers were very friendly and accommodating

Ate at this joint 2 nights in a row. Both meals were excellent, staff courteous, and reasonably priced.

This was my first visit to Kahill's, but I would visit again. They gave our group a nice quiet room and offered music. The drinks were very timely and the food came in very large portions. Everyone at our table received exactly what they ordered, and the wait staff was very friendly. Thanks for a great experience.

Alex was excellent. First time there and she answered questions about the menu, let us sample beer and gave great service. Food was delicious and we will be back! Charlotte to Richmond is almost 5 hrs so this is our go to stop!

I always get mine to go, while I wait I have a beer. I’ve seen live music and big time football and I’m in and out in 20 minutes. Get the burger and just order it your way. Awesome!!!

I absolutely love this place the food is amazing. I had the oyster sandwich the first time I visited and the tuna steak the second, it was delicious. The service is excellent, and they have live bands too! It's hard to find a decent restaurant these days, so thank you kahills for being so awesome. If you haven't tried it I definitely suggest it yum!

Typical bar scene. Menu seems overpriced for what you get. My med rare burger was supposed to have a fried egg, which was rubbery and didn't have a runny yolk. Burger was overcooked and well done. Hand cut fries weren't crisp or seasoned. Service was mediocre. She never asked how our food was, or refills, but was friendly. One positive thing was that the band sounded good, although a little too loud. Not much else to do in rural VA on a Friday or Saturday night.

Kahills was awesome. The food was great and our waiter was a breath of fresh air!!!

Come on over truckers.. This place has great food and after a day of driving a .4 mile walk one way it will be good exercise . Very happy with the seafood alfredo. Very fresh. I have got this place on favorites for sure..

It was great to finally be dinning inside! Enjoyed the blackened prime rib. It was wonderful. Lizzie is a great bartender and always makes sure our meals are just as we ordered. Highly recommend

Was staying at the holiday inn express, so we stumbled across this place. Food is amazing and I’m a pretty tough food critic. The waitresses were great, food was immaculate and tasty cocktails. It was so good we went twice. Every time I’m in the area this will be on my list. If you’re in the area go... even if you’re not passing by stop here !!

Excellent food! And they were easily able and willing to accommodate my keto eating plan! I definitely plan to eat here again if I'm ever in the area!

My family and I stopped here on our way through Virginia. The staff immediately greeted us and ushered to a table. I ordered the Fried Scallop and Spinach Salad which was excellent, and my husband ordered a cheeseburger that he said was juicy and delicious. He didn’t care for the homemade chips, but I really liked them. The waitress continually checked on us and was very kind. We would definitely stop here again. My only complaint is the lack of hooks in the bathroom to hang a purse/diaper bag in the women’s handicap stall. It was difficult to handle my toddler and balance everything in my hands while helping her in the bathroom.

The place is awesome, not too packed at times, food is great, drinks cheap enough but the Bartender is awesome...

Called in a order , a hamburger steak with fries and unbuttered sourdough bread. Well ended up with a hamburger with tomato,lettuce and bacon on a bun with buttered sourdough bread. Burger was extremely dry and the fries were cold and limp.But he said he could make me one., I asked him to make sure. So thank you

This place is a hidden gem! Local beer on draft excellent, burgers excellent (try the Mecklenburger), service excellent (how the heck did the food get out so fast?), ambient really does a surprisingly good job combining cozy American style restaurant with dingy pub vibe. It works. Definitely recommend and will be back.Also, the house chips are amazingly awesome!

They were very friendly and the food came out quickly. The prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious.

Up on business and the Hotel I was staying at recommended this restaurant. Dinner was great! (had the nights special shrimp pasta dish) Service was very good and attentive too! The next night, I tried another local place and the experience was SO bad, I came back to Kahill's! I NEVER eat at a place twice in the same week while out of town. But Kahill's is worth it and just that good! The second night, I got the Big Bang Shrimp appetizer. it was large enough that I never ordered an entree. Good draft beer selection as well

The aroma of food was great when we got out the car! The manager was in plain clothes which made the environment feel relaxed and he greeted us at the door. Our server was genuine and attentive to our table. The food was hot, portion was great, and taste was awesome. Nice atmosphere, child appropriate, and the price of food was reasonable. Would definitely come back!

In our food here it was delicious our bartender was awesome the young girl. Highly recommend this place

My wife and I visited here for brunch, got there early and had a very good meal. Service was very attentive and food served in good time. I had the Crab Cake Benedict and it was excellent. Would recommend this place.

The Tesla Charging Stations are a bit out of place in a small town, and as far as we know, this is the only bar in South Hills. Fortunately, it's very refined and has a great atmosphere. The servers are very friendly, accommodating, and offered wonderful selections. Great place.

We just happen to stumble across this place on our way to the Charlotte Airport to spend the night. What a most wonderful surprise. The place was warm and toasty and the food was wonderful. Service was great and the men you had a great variety on it. Definitely would return if we are in the area again. Seem to have a lot of locals so that says a lot for the restaurant. Prices were very moderate.

Delicious food and the wait staff was excellent! I enjoyed the ambiance as well. Great little whole in the wall spot!
